Human Factor (during Covid-19)

What happened with our lives during the global pandemic?

Well, the treadmill you had been on for decades just stopped. Bam!

What happened is inexplicably incredible. It’s the greatest gift ever unwrapped. Not the deaths, not the virus, but The Great Pause. It is, in a word, profound.

The corona virus crisis will pass, the pandemic will become a memory and in time it will fade away. Mass-media will speed up the process, it´ll make us forget all the beauty that was revealed to us during that challenging time for humankind.

But the truth is, we have all learned (or re-remembered) some essential human fundamentals during this time. NOW is the time to capture that memory down and make it last forever!

The quests I have created will be on the below...

We have created new routines, new habits, realized unforgotten traits that make our lives worthwhile and bring happiness. But that all will change soon again...

Today you want the feeling of normalcy:

- we want desperately to feel good again,

- to get back to the routines of life,

- to not lie in bed at night wondering how we’re going to afford our rent and bills,

- to not wake to an endless scroll of human tragedy on our phones,

- to have a cup of perfectly brewed coffee,

- to simply dress up or down and leave the house for work,

- the need for comfort will be real, and it will be strong.

Every brand in the world will come to your rescue, dear consumer, to help take away that darkness and get life back to the way it was before the crisis. I urge you to be well aware of what is coming and consider the impact of every choice you make for your life, for humankind and for our planet. We are well aware of problems in the world, we do care, but turning back to the old ways, we will end up just back on that selfish egoistic lifestyle and spend our days in endless cycles of that treadmill. Your time and ability to think for yourself will be manipulated. Be prepared, stay clear.

Quest 1

If you only had a little while to live, would you focus on what matters to you most?

Yes? So do it- rearrange your busy life, focus on what you truly want out of this life and stick to it and always live the life on your terms! (:

Quest 2

The Great Pause It’s the greatest gift ever unwrapped. Not the deaths, not the virus, but the Pause. It is, in a word, profound. Please don’t recoil from the bright light beaming through the window. I know it hurts your eyes. It hurts mine, too. But the curtain is wide open. What the crisis has given us is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see ourselves and our kind in the plainest of views. At no other time, ever in our lives, have we gotten the opportunity to see what would happen if the world simply stopped. Here it is. We’re in it. Stores are closed. Restaurants are empty. Streets and highways are barren. Even the planet itself is rattling less. And because it is rarer than rare, it has brought to light all of the beautiful and painful truths of how we live. And that feels weird. Because it has… never… happened… before. If we want to create a better country and a better world for our kids, and if we want to make sure we are even sustainable, we have to pay attention to how we feel right now. So please, write a letter and never forget.

"When this is over, may we never again take for granted

A handshake with a stranger

Full shelves at the store

Conversations with neighbors

A crowded theater

Friday night out

The taste of communion

A routine checkup

The school rush each morning

Coffee with a friend

The stadium roaring

Each deep breath

A boring Tuesday

Life itself.

When this ends

may we find

that we have become

more like the people

we wanted to be

we were called to be

we hoped to be

and may we stay

that way — better

for each other

because of the worst."
